MWWPR has appointed Parker Ray its Chief Digital Strategist and Executive Vice President. He will lead the agency’s digital practice.

MWWPR has named Parker Ray (pictured) its Chief Digital Strategist and Executive Vice President. He brings to the role extensive disruptive experience in the areas of digital engagement, social analytics, and content development across the consumer, corporate, and healthcare sectors.

He will head digital and social media strategy, social listening, digital media buying, influencer programmes, and agency education initiatives. He was most recently New York Digital Practice Lead for MSLGROUP, and drove growth by expanding the company’s digital offerings across multiple industry sectors.

Prior to MSLGROUP, he was the New York Head of Social and Digital at Golin, where he spearheaded the firm’s creation and implementation of new social media processes for clients, including enhanced content development, community management, channel strategy as well as social analytics.

Additionally, he previously helped develop the consumer engagement role at The Esteé Lauder Companies. While leading the relaunch of Prescriptives.com and special projects across various other brands, he also served as Senior Editorial Director for the launch of nycgo.com, the official guide to New York City.
