For its upcoming A-Class debut, Mercedes-Benz has launched Bucket List, a platform celebrating automotive technology and human dreams.
With the launch of the new A-Class scheduled for 2019, Mercedes-Benz has introduced Bucket List, a campaign celebrating the car by affording fans an opportunity to fulfil their dreams. Until 9 November, participants can engage by sharing their goals via Instagram.
To enter, users need only grab templates from the carmaker’s story highlights, customise each, and post them online using #AClassBucketListEntry and @MercedesBenzUSA. Then, the automotive giant will select winners and tap its A-Class platform to reward fans.
The effort stars pro tennis player, Sloane Stephens, and singer-songwriter, Charli XCX, both of whom reveal their own bucket lists like finding the perfect New York City pizza slice. The A-Class features the Mercedes-Benz User Experience multimedia system (MBUX) interface.
Instead of the operator learning the vehicle, MBUX studies the driver and detects patterns such as lighting, setting, music, and destination preferences. One has to just speak and the car does the rest. For instance, if “I’m cold” is said, the interface turns up the temperature.
Mercedes-Benz is a global winner of the 2015-2016 World Branding Awards under the Automotive category.
