For the rebrand of the Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Credit Card, the hotel chain tied up with Chase Card Services to launch a new product.

Now called the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card, the product’s name-change captures the partnership between Chase Card Services and the hotel chain, which led to the revamp of its Premier Plus offering. Said move follows the restructure of the hospitality juggernaut’s loyalty programme.

The new facility replaces all current brands under the group to include Starwood Preferred Guest, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Marriott Rewards—with the update taking effect on 13 February. The reimagined design rolls out on 28 February with a limited-time offer of 100,000 points for new subscribers.

Featuring contactless technology, the Marriott card allows a quick and secure checkout with a single tap at the millions of locations where such payments are accepted. Equipped with an EMV chip, the threat of counterfeiting by fraudsters is significantly reduced, a plus that gives users peace of mind.

“With the accelerated perks the Bonvoy Boundless Card offers, card members will be able to explore our extraordinary global portfolio of brands and indulge in incredible experiences all while enjoying the programme’s various benefits,” said David Flueck, Senior VP, Global Loyalty for Marriott International.
