Communications firm, Makovsky, has added to its healthcare business with the hire of Rob Schachter as EVP, Deputy Head of Healthcare.
Communications firm, Makovsky, has welcomed on board Rob Schachter as EVP, Deputy Head of Healthcare, who will report to Partner and Chief Strategy Officer, Susan Goldstein. He was most recently MD at Lazar Partners, and before that, served under Ruder Finn’s healthcare practice for nearly a decade.
Schachter brings to the role more than two decades of experience in leading numerous U.S. and global teams for multiple device and pharmaceutical companies. He has worked on accounts like Novartis, Roche Diabetes, Daiichi-Sankyo, Medtronic, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Baxter, and AstraZeneca.
