L’Oréal Paris will host its fourteenth annual Women of Worth awards programme this year and has begun its search for 2019’s honourees.

L’Oréal Paris has announced the start of its 2019 Women of Worth nominations. Inspired by its tagline, Because You’re Worth It, the platform will honour 10 women who are making a difference in their communities. Now in its fourteenth season, it recognises local heroes.

Elevating their stories, the movement shines a spotlight on everyday change-makers who represent the spirit of women everywhere and selflessly give of themselves in service of others. From now and 30 April, voters can submit the names of their nominees of choice.

The honourees of 2019 stand to receive up to $35,000 in donations or their own causes in conjunction with the latest installation of Women of Worth. L’Oréal Paris is again partnering with Points of Light, the largest organisation dedicated to volunteer service in the world.

On top of receiving $10,000 for her cause, honourees will gain networking opportunities and marketing support, along with a platform to elevate her story. She will become part of the current Women of Worth alumnae and add to a diverse collection of stories and causes.

The new lineup will be revealed in the fall. Selected by popular vote, one woman will be chosen as National Honouree. She will be awarded an additional $25,000. All honourees will be celebrated in December at an awards ceremony L’Oréal Paris will host in New York.

“Our signature Women of Worth programme empowers women to take a look at their worth through a different lens and celebrate the beauty of giving back. We are looking forward to the next wave of nominees,” said Tim Coolican, President of L’Oréal Paris USA.

L’Oréal is a three-time global winner of the World Branding Awards under the Health & Beauty – Cosmetics category, having won the title in 20142016, and 2017 respectively.
