Lightspeed Group, under WPP network, has appointed Caroline Frankum (pictured) to the position of Chief Executive Officer, Europe, Middle East, and Africa and member of the Board of Directors. She steps into the position in June and will report to David Day, President and Global CEO.
The new lead succeeds Martin Filz who has transitioned to Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific in January. Focusing on emerging business opportunities, she has been tasked with growth strategy, client management, and operational plans across the aforementioned region.
Frankum’s career is marked by a prolific tenure across the marketing research industry. She most recently served as Hall & Partners’ CEO for EMEA. In said capacity, she drove impressive year-on-year revenue growth. She also won substantial business in emerging markets.
She was responsible for leading the firm to launch offerings in Africa and Dubai. While Frankum was CEO, the organisation achieved Superbrand status in the United for two consecutive years. In her seven years at Hall & Partners, she also served as Managing Partner, Europe.
“Caroline has a broad range of experience with myriad clients, product development, and concept testing as well as consumer targeting in both the quantitative and qualitative space. I look forward to working with her, as she brings her fresh approach and expertise to leading our excellent EMEA team,” said Day.
