JW Marriott and its Content Studio have launched the trailer for its second installment of the Two Bellmen short film franchise. Shot on location at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, it reflects the brand’s commitment to luxury guest service, providing a theatrical look into the bustling world of two bellmen.
“Our bellmen are often the first to welcome our guests to JW Marriott. Two Bellmen Two provides an entertaining glimpse into the life of the bellmen, capturing the lengths that our associates will go to make that experience unforgettable,” said Mitzi Gaskins, VP, Luxury Brand Management at Marriott International.
Premiering on 4 February 2016, the production stars international actress Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and sees the return of bellmen Gage and Christian, played by Hollywood actors and stuntmen William Spencer (Spider-Man) and Caine Sinclaire (How I Met Your Mother).
Other cast members include popular local comedian Ali Al Sayed, actor Darin Toonder (Flashback), and a cameo by the group’s celebrity brand partner and event planner, Colin Cowie. The show begins with a top executive who travels to the hotel for a Luxury Symposium presentation being hosted there.
Upon arrival, she passes the USB drive featuring her presentation to Reed, her young assistant, only to have him to lose it. Bellmen Gage and Christian quickly notice that something is wrong and spring into action, maneuvering the streets of Dubai to rescue the gadget before time runs out.
“Two Bellmen Two is the next short film from the global franchise where we are using original storytelling to engage with and win the hearts, minds, and wallets of next generation travellers,” said David Beebe, Vice President, Global Creative and Content Marketing at Marriott International.
The aforementioned destination was added to the script from scratch as a character along with the rest of the cast, which features also iconic locations throughout Dubai. The film was written Daniel Malakai Cabrera and overseen by executive producers David Beebe and Sandra J. Schulze.
