Kingston gaming division, HyperX, has added French soccer athlete, Raphaël Varane, to its growing elite cast of global brand ambassadors.

HyperX has signed French soccer player, Raphaël Varane, as brand ambassador. His appointment adds to the marque’s growing talent lineup. He is an avid gamer with an interest in sporting games. He will feature across a range of marketing campaigns scheduled for both this year and 2020.

Varane won his fourth UEFA Champions League trophy in 2018 at 25 years old, making him the youngest player in history to do so at said frequency. Sixteen years in, the group has expanded its lineup of PC peripherals to focus on console gamers with its licensed gaming headset products.

“With the announcement of Raphaël Varane as brand ambassador, the family continues to expand. We want to show that no matter which platform you use to game—mobile, PC, or console—we are all gamers,” said Paul Leaman, Vice President for HyperX EMEA.
