Fashion to Figure has named television’s Danielle Brooks its brand ambassador. The singer and actress will appear in an upcoming holiday marketing push by the New York & Company plus-size clothing brand. The campaign, titled #InclusionRevolution, will highlight women and body positivity.
The exercise spans multiple channels to include mobile, social, in-store, as well as digital executions, with all featured styles curated by Fashion to Figure and its new spokesperson. Owner the portfolio, New York & Company, announced recently its name change to RTW Retailwinds as part of a rebrand.
Fashion to Figure and Brooks worked with a full-bodied crew for photography, styling, hair, and makeup solutions. The collaboration over the shoot reflects the label’s appreciation of women both in front of and behind the camera. Additionally, its standalone ecommerce site has been relaunched.
“I am extremely proud to celebrate the relaunch of our ecommerce site with Danielle Brooks as our brand ambassador. She represents the future of our brand and what we stand for—a celebration of women with full-size curves and their communities,” said Nick Kaplan, Co-founder of Fashion to Figure.
