Daiichi Sankyo has signed on dancer and television host, Carrie Ann Inaba, as the official spokesperson for its Get Iron Informed campaign.
Daiichi Sankyo has forged a partnership with Carrie Ann Inaba for Get Iron Informed, a campaign to raise awareness on Iron Deficiency Anemia, which occurs when iron levels are insufficient to generate healthy red blood cells. The dancer, choreographer, and television host will share her personal story.
Living the condition herself, her experience and journey will be part of the narrative, which aims to reach those who are undiagnosed and at risk. The key objective is to get people to see the importance of talking to a physician; IDA affects some five million adults in the US.
The statistic includes one in five women of childbearing age. In conjunction with the effort, visitors can visit the campaign’s dedicated website for essential information and educational resources around the ailment. Those interested can learn about pre-existing conditions that can affect one’s iron levels.
