As official sponsor, it will design dual-branded outerwear for various extreme sports activities with the collection set to launch in autumn

Columbia Sportswear has been unveiled as Manchester United’s first Official Outdoor Apparel Partner. Set the roll out in the autumn of 2016, the brand will design dual-branded outerwear for sporting exploits such as hiking, climbing, mountaineering as well as water and snow activities.

“We look forward to working together to provide our fans with a new way of expressing their support for the Club. This partnership helps the Club accompany our fans wherever they go, taking us with them to new heights,” said Richard Arnold, Group Managing Director at Manchester United.

Columbia, the company’s flagship brand, has been developing innovative outdoor products for enthusiasts since 1938. Thus, the collaboration is indicative of the demand for the retail giant’s dedication to premium quality products and extensive reach in more than 100 countries worldwide.
