Titled The Giver, the spot takes eBay viewers on the emotionally gratifying journey of finding and giving the perfect holiday present.

EBay has unveiled a Christmas campaign with spots set to debut on 9 November, marking its first round of national television holiday ads in nearly two years. The series supports the aim to help shoppers find the right gifts for loved ones through season-long special deals.

The online retail giant collaborated with San Francisco agency, Pereira & O’Dell, to develop the new collection of broadcast ads. Titled The Giver, the marquee spot takes viewers on the emotionally gratifying journey of finding and delivering the perfect holiday present.

The Gift They’re Waiting for also uses digital video and display content as well as social media to inspire eBay shoppers on the lookout for unique ideas. Customers can expect some of the most competitive deals from top brands in electronics, fashion, home, and toys.

“As a global marketplace, here’s where one finds the most in-demand items, from small to mid-size to bespoke items. We empower shoppers to be the ultimate gift-givers with our unparalleled selection,” said Suzy Deering, Chief Marketing Officer for eBay North America.
