Following a nationwide agency search, Choice Hotels has awarded the creative business for its full portfolio of hospitality brands to McKinney.

Choice Hotels International has named McKinney its lead creative agency. Beginning this month, the firm will help develop a fresh creative platform for the chain and provide strategic support for its full portfolio of brands. A major ad push is set to debut this year.

McKinney will head strategy and development, with the work spanning broadcast, digital, social, radio, print, and OOH. The firm will run the account out of its Durham headquarters in North Carolina. The remit covers WoodSpring, Comfort, Cambria, Ascend, Clarion, Sleep Inn, Quality Inn, and other brands.

“After a nationwide search, it was clear that McKinney was the right agency for our brand in terms of their understanding of our industry and audience, and for the cultural alignment between our teams,” said Brent Bouldin, VP, Marketing and Customer Acquisition, Choice Hotels.
