Luxury fashion marque, Bottletop, has launched a design collection featuring intricate hand craftsmanship set to display at the Olympics.

British-rooted luxury fashion brand, Bottletop, has unveiled a blend sustainable designs featuring intricate hand craftsmanship with pieces whose creation has been executed by local artisans between London, Salvador, Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro, the city of the 2016 Olympics.

The collection delivers thousands of hand painted, up-cycled metals tabs collected from across the state of Bahia in the North East of Brazil and a matching number of Swarovski crystals from Europe, the delicate application of which has happened over a period of at least six months.

The designs were photographed with Brazilian supermodel and VS Angel and Bottletop brand ambassador, Lais Ribeiro, by Grayson Hoffman in New York. A cross-cultural collaboration, the designs will be exhibited at a launch event in Rio alongside the F/W16 Collection on 16 August 2016.

The celebration will take place at the historic Bhering Chocolate Factory in Rio, and will feature live performances from leading Brazilian and European artistes with a stunning audio-visual display. Also, Brazilian singer, Ludmilla, featured in the opening ceremony wearing a white Bottletop couture body-con catsuit.
