Curio has added a four-diamond resort in the Southern Californian desert to its A Collection by Hilton portfolio. An upscale property set against a swanky façade, the historic Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa sits on an 11-acre oasis nestled at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains.
With 215 guest rooms, suites, and villas, alongside picturesque gardens views, the luxury destination blends classic sophistication with the relaxing comforts of an exotic escape. Opened in 1960 as the Erawan Garden, it runs one of the nation’s most acclaimed spas and treatment facilities.
Approaching an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation, the 12,000-square-foot location will offer premium services in an intimate environment. The getaway’s key highlights include 13 treatment rooms featuring seasonal offerings and a courtyard with two private salt water pools.
Poolside cabanas are available for rent, offering refuge with soothing ceiling fans and water misters. Meanwhile, the Piedmont Pool offers access to a heated whirlpool, sun decks, and food and beverage service. The 24-hour fitness centre includes free weights and the latest exercise equipment.
Guests will experience a bevy of culinary choices. Specialised in seasonal California cuisine, the Grove Artisan Kitchen affords a diverse menu featuring organic produce, fresh herbs, local ranch-raised meats, fresh Pacific seafood, house-made pastas, and innovative vegetarian dishes.
Additional pampering is made possible with speciality bites and hand-crafted cocktails sipped on the outdoor patio or from within the Vineyard Lounge. Patrons wishing to enjoy a meal or drinks without leaving their lounge chair can choose to indulge poolside at any of the resort’s three pools.
