Procter & Gamble has extended its beauty portfolio to include Walker & Company in order to grow its offerings crafted for consumers of colour.

Procter & Gamble has welcomed health and beauty provider, Walker & Company, into its family of brands to serve consumers of colour worldwide. Founded in 2013, the latter has spent the past five years developing several high-performance lines to meet specific needs.

Its key offerings include a grooming range for men with coarse or curly hair, Bevel, and Form Beauty, a premium haircare collection for women with textured hair. The company will run as a separate but wholly-owned subsidiary of P&G led by Founder, Tristan Walker.

The merger will expand the multicultural business of Procter & Gamble and accelerate growth for existing Walker & Company brands. In addition, the move will continue to fuel the development of additional products that meet the requirements of people of colour.

“The combination of Walker & Company’s deep consumer understanding, connection to its community, and customised products along with our seasoned talent and global scale will allow us to improve the lives of multicultural consumers,” said Alex Keith, P&G Beauty CEO.
