Inspired by an urban sports theme, the design of the innovative Casio G-Shock GA500 variant is modelled after a bike wheel.

Casio has unveiled the GA500 across its G-Shock portfolio. A timepiece depicting a unique shape, the new release is positioned for an exclusive online release starting in October. Inspired by an urban sports theme, the innovative design of the aforementioned variant is modelled after a bike wheel.

Created using new resin moulding technology to reflect a dial-and-wheel motif, the watch featured a round face with multi-dimensional hands. The Casio collection delivers the brand’s first digital-analog model to be equipped with large front buttons at six o’clock that activate the stopwatch with one touch.

Said product also boasts a retrograde second hand with a dual coil motor, digital minute LCD display, and slanted buttons for minimal interference. The GA500 comes in three colourways including all black (GA500-1A), white with black accents (GA500-7A), and black with red accents (GA500-1A4).

Built on G-Shock technology, the range promises water and shock resistance, LED light to increase visibility, world time with 31 zones around 48 cities, four daily alarms, and more. The collection will be available for purchase via the Casio online store, its G-Shock Soho Store as well as Macy’s website.
