Expanding its product range, Casetify enters the travel market with a fully customisable, made-to-order luggage line, initially available in North America and South Korea.
Casetify announced that this expansion constitutes a natural progression for the brand. By applying its proven impact protection expertise to travel gear and offering extensive personalisation options, Casetify aims to introduce a bold new perspective to the luxury travel category.
Casetify Travel equips its carry-on luggage with its signature ‘Bounce’ technology, ensuring extreme protection and durability. This ultra-lightweight (8.23 lbs) design maximises packing space, featuring a robust German-engineered Bayer’s Makrolon polycarbonate shell and strategically placed ‘Bounce bumpers’ for enhanced impact absorption.
The hard-shell design enhances functionality. It features Hinomoto Miraclent ball-bearing wheels, an aircraft-grade aluminium telescoping handle, puncture-resistant YKK zippers with integrated TSA-approved locks, and a convenient built-in AirTag pocket for effortless luggage tracking.
Casetify Travel luggage has undergone a comprehensive suite of rigorous tests, including mileage tests, stair tests, trolley jerk tests, handle jerk tests, drop tests, and cold resistance tests. These tests have been conducted to ensure the luggage meets the highest standards of durability and can withstand the stresses encountered during air, ground, and rail travel.
The Bounce carry-on roller, starting at $399, arrives in three stylish colours which are black, red, and blue, each adorned with custom Casetify embossing. This luggage offers unparalleled customisation with full-surface on-demand printing. Choose from the playful Casetify Dot Font with 11 vibrant colour options and 6 coordinating background colours or the elegant Skyline Font with 11 colours ranging from subtle neutrals to bold eye-catching tones and pastels.
Casetify Travel also introduces a tech pack organizer and a packing cube set to complement its luggage collection.
“We’ve been perfecting protection and personalisation for tech for over a decade,” said Wesley Ng, Casetify CEO and co-founder. “Expanding into travel allows us to innovate further, bringing our signature Bounce technology and customisation platform to this new frontier.”
“We’re not just launching luggage; we’re revolutionising how travellers express their individuality, offering a new level of protection and personalisation for those who embrace a life of adventure.”
Founded in 2011 as an e-commerce platform specialising in customisable phone cases, Casetify has achieved significant global success. It has sold over 20 million cases worldwide and projects $300 million in revenue for 2024.
Casetify’s foray into travel marks a significant step for the brand, extending its renowned customisation and protection expertise to a new category.
