Marc Jacobs has signed Lila Moss as its 2019 ambassador. She will appear for the first time in a campaign debuting in the UK and Ireland.

Marc Jacobs has announced Lila Moss as incoming ambassador for 2019. A dedicated push premieres on 11 October 2018 at Harvey Nichols, the brand’s new exclusive retail partner in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Shot by David Sims, with creative direction from Katie Grand, it delivers the first official campaign image.

In the lead photograph, Moss showcases the Marc Jacobs Beauty Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Eye Crayon in (grape)vine, one of five limited-edition colours debuting for spring. She joins a line-up that includes Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell, Aya Jones, Kaia Gerber, Winona Ryder, and Adwoa Aboah, who have served as faces of the brand in the past.

Makeup and hair were done by Diane Kendal and Guido Palau respectively, and nails by Jin Soon Choi. The upcoming collection will be available globally from February 2019 at Sephora stores worldwide; select Marc Jacobs stores and online; Neiman Marcus; Bergdorf Goodman; Harvey Nichols; and the Net-A-Porter website.

“It is with pride I share this first image from our shoot with the incredible Lila Moss in her first campaign for us. Her beauty, composure, patience, and kindness made this project even more special than I could have imagined. With each look we photographed, she got into character effortlessly and gracefully,” said Marc Jacobs.
