Louis Vuitton has unveiled the Le Damier jewellery line, a stunning collection inspired by the brand’s iconic monogram, in its newly acquired building. The building will serve as the headquarters for the brand’s fine jewellery business, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s history.

The Damier jewellery collection, a stunning fusion of yellow or white gold and shimmering diamonds, reinterprets the brand’s iconic geometric pattern in elegant and versatile pieces, including bracelets, rings, earrings, and pendants.

“After we created a single Damier ring a year ago and saw how wildly popular it became, I thought, why not make an entire collection? Sometimes the best ideas are right before you,” said Francesca Amfitheatrof, Vuitton’s artistic director for watches and jewellery.

Inspired by the iconic Damier pattern, the bracelets and rings boast a slimline silhouette with a raised checkerboard design. The bracelets are remarkably lightweight, fitting comfortably and seamlessly like a second skin.

“An object that appears effortless is often the most difficult to create. Achieving that smoothness didn’t come easily,” emphasised Amfitheatrof, a Russo-American Italian, speaking in a refined Home Counties accent.

The highly anticipated Damier jewellery collection will be available starting October 18 in Louis Vuitton boutiques worldwide and online. Prices for the rings start at €4,400 for the 3.5mm version and go up to €12,700 for the 9mm version, while bracelets range from €14,900 to €31,000. The pendant is priced at €6,400, and the earrings at €11,000.

LVMH has acquired a breathtaking late 19th-century mansion featuring elegant marble landings, exterior pilasters, and a Regency-inspired design to serve as the headquarters for Vuitton’s expanding jewellery business.

Situated in a prime location near Place Vendôme, the building will undergo renovations but retain its original charm, making it an ideal setting for the brand’s luxurious jewellery collections.

“Our jewellery business has been growing so rapidly that we outgrew this space before we even moved in,” said Francesca, a woman known for her legendary confidence.

Indulge in the luxury of the Damier jewellery collection, a stunning assortment of pieces that showcase the brand’s iconic monogram in a contemporary and sophisticated design. Crafted with the finest materials and meticulous attention to detail that reflects the highest level of craftsmanship, these pieces are not just beautiful but also durable and collectable, making them a valuable investment for years.
