Burson-Marsteller has moved to partner with Greek communications firm, Publicom, with the deal set to take effect on 1 January 2017.

Global public relations and communications firm, Burson-Marsteller, is set to join forces with Publicom, a WPP-owned agency in Greece, to launch Publicom Burson-Marsteller. Per the arrangement, the brand new entity is officially scheduled to be operational from 1 January 2017.

Publicom is a Greek creative communications agency, which serves both local and international clients. The firm’s services include brand communications, corporate communications, financial communications, media relations, social media as well as reputation and crisis management.

“We were extremely impressed with how professional all the agencies we met were – and how talented and creative their teams were too,” said Jeremy Galbraith, CEO of Burson-Marsteller Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“Our final choice of partner reflects the global WPP vision for achieving group synergy. I believe that this new partnership will best serve our current clients and has great potential for the future.”
