The tie-up joins existing Hyundai deals with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Coming off a successful Super Bowl campaign in its first year as an official NFL sponsor, Hyundai has inked a sponsorship deal with the Miami Dolphins—the fifth team to join its NFL roster. The partnership expands on existing programmes with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
For 2016, the carmaker will display three vehicles at all Dolphins home games and be entitled to the exclusive Hyundai Club. The space is designed by the Rockwell Group and offers a pristine location for bonding with family and friends pregame, in-game, and post-game at the team’s stadium.
The brand’s digital LED signage is set to run across team-related announcements at the stadium. Meanwhile, it has signed on as official sponsor for the Coach’s Show, the squad’s insider show which airs every Sunday in season. Additionally, the automotive giant will print advertisements in local Miami publications.
“By creating a Hyundai-driven experience for fans as they watch their team compete at the highest level, we aim to engage in the local communities and drive awareness surrounding our vehicles,” said Trea Reedy, Senior Group Manager, Experiential Marketing at Hyundai Motor America.
The marque is also the official sponsor of the Miami Dolphin’s Thanksgiving meal distribution programme, and will be the lead vehicle for the start of the Dolphins Cancer Challenge.
