Two Nissan teams competed: NP300 Frontier in strong defence, X-Trail and Qashqai in the middle, and March in the agile front.
Nissan, global automotive partner of the UEFA Champions League, tested its vehicles during an innovative football game with the best alignment—the star product portfolio in Latin America. The encounter was a recreation of an official Champions League match.
Featuring line-up presentations, referee, opening ceremony, halftime, and closing-time, all elements were present, including singing the team anthem and greetings between competitors. The main aim was to bring Nissan’s engineering to the field, showing the emotion that only the above mentioned brands can achieve together.
Two teams of four members each competed on the field: NP300 Frontier in strong defence, X-Trail and Qashqai in the middle, and March in the powerful and agile front. Professional pilots were in charge of the challenge accompanied by special co-pilots from the sports world in Latin America.
They share their own experience using Nissan vehicles during the match. The exclusive group of co-drivers included Quique Wolff, Sebastián Mejía as well as Fabian Vargas on the black team. Meanwhile, the white team comprised Marcelo Benedetto, Juan Manuel Varela, Jorge Bermudez, and Claudio Bustíos.
Both teams left everything on the field, confirming the capabilities of said automobiles. During March and May, Nissan Latin America and the Caribbean will show the performance of their line-up along with key moments of the game through its digital channels.
