She was previously Client Service and Relations lead, and headed growth and digital strategic vision for a key sports retail client

TBWA has promoted Lauren Niemcewicz to Managing Director of Engage, the Chicago-based global performance marketing agency within the brand’s worldwide network. She succeeds Executive Director, Jonathan Ashton, who is exiting the company at the end of March to pursue other interests.

The firm is specialised in search engine optimisation, search engine marketing, and data analytics for Konica-Minolta and a major global sports retailer. As part of the TBWA web, Engage has also worked with network clients such as GoDaddy, McDonald’s, and Michelin.

In her new role, Niemcewicz reports to TBWA\Chiat\Day Chief Executive Officer for New York, Rob Schwartz, who oversees the business. She was previously Senior Account Manager and Client Service and Relations lead, where she headed growth and digital strategic vision for a key global sports retail client.

Prior to joining Engage, she was Media Director (SEO and SEM) at Perfomics in its United States and Canadian offices. In the said capacity, she managed multi-channel digital brand strategies for clients including Kohls, Home Depot, Kia, and Microsoft.

“Engage is at the epicentre of the three key dynamics influencing marketers today namely Data, Technology, and Content. Lauren’s experience, expertise, and energy make her the perfect leader of this offering,” said Rob Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer of TBWA\Chiat\Day New York.
