He will report to President and CEO, Michael Kempner and serve as a key member of the agency’s senior executive committee

Public relations firm, MWWPR, has named Co-founder and former Managing Director of Catalyst, Bret Werner (pictured), to the dual role of Chief Client Officer and Executive Vice President. In the capacity, he is responsible for strategy, growth, and deepening client relationships across all practice groups and offices.

Based out of the network’s New York office, he will report to President and CEO, Michael W. Kempner, and serve as a leading member on the agency’s senior executive committee. Prior to Catalyst, he was Managing Partner at Taylor. As a member of the management team, he helped reposition the brand and its business approach.

That strategy used by Werner was highlighted by Harvard Business School in a case study of the same restructuring entitled, Transformation at Taylor. In addition, the company’s revamp, through his navigation, earned The Holmes Report’s Consumer Agency of the Decade award.

“Bret is an exceptional client strategist, customer visionary, proven innovator, and truly personifies our Matter More philosophy. He will play a central role in helping the firm refine our omni-channel offerings and delivery excellence for the next phase of our aggressive growth,” said Kempner.
