The fresh appointment positions the specialist as the lead for market strategy surrounding industry events under the brand’s tech portfolio
London-based multinational B2B events and digital media company, UBM EMEA, has appointed marketing specialist, Anna Knight, to the role of Brand Director of the Technology for Marketing (TFM) and eCommerce Expo events. She brings to the table more than a decade of experience in marketing strategy for brands which include World Routes and Safety & Health Expo.
Across the last two years, Knight has headed up marketing for Technology for Marketing, eCommerce Expo, Interop London, and London Technology Week and has been instrumental in the development of UBM EMEA’s tech portfolio. Utilising her wealth of event experience, marketing knowledge, and industry expertise, Knight’s appointment will enhance the development of the portfolio.
In the role, her core duties encompass ensuring a clear focus is dedicated to Technology for Marketing and helping marketers connect with the right technology for their needs. She is also responsible for implementing the co-location of Technology for Marketing with eCommerce Expo and Customer Contact Expo in September 2016 to create a series of events designed to help marketing, ecommerce, and customer service professionals achieve best-in-class customer experience.
