Being a massive advertising business, Google now changes its course in developing a transparent advertising system. After the launch of the “Ads Transparency Center,” one can see the advertiser behind any Google ad.
As soon as this search giant introduces this “searchable hub,” one can potentially explore verified advertisers. Moreover, you will also get to know about the targeted region of an ad and its advertisement running format using Google ads services.
It’s not the first time an online platform has offered visibility to this extent. Back in 2018 and 2019, Facebook and Twitter extended this ad transparency, respectively. However, Google ad transparency is not flexible as Facebook Ads Library.
Suppose you want to evaluate a certain ad; click the three-dot that appears beside an ad. Through this, you’ll be redirected straight to the Transparency center. This way, you can also analyze your competitor ads.
Although last year Google introduced ‘My Ad Center,’ which provides an ad customization feature, it never gives details about a specific ad.
Google elaborated on this process “The Ads Transparency Center is a searchable hub of all ads served from verified advertisers. This one-stop shop was designed with you in mind by ensuring you have easy access to information about the ads you see from Google.”
This latest data transparency will give you an insight into an ad. Google describes this as ‘ a double-check before you buy.’ This feature will not only has a Google ad preview but also let consumers know more about the business before making a worthy purchase. Also you can find this information on Google Scholar.
