OPPO has introduced a campaign in India. Titled Your Best Diwali Gift, it spotlights the newly launched F9 Pro Starry Purple variant and celebrates the joys of reaching out to the underprivileged. The effort aims to foster an emotional bond between brand and consumer.
With a focus on lights, love, colours, family and children are key elements. The tech brand partnered with Smile Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to championing the welfare of the disenfranchised, particularly struggling kids, their families, as well as the wider community.
For the second leg of the push, OPPO launched a digital extension to emphasise the core competency of the product—5-minute charge, 2-hour talk. Directed by Bollywood’s Mohit Suri, the spot stars Indian actress, Kiara Advani, depicting a mother and adopted daughter.
The narrative captures how love connects people and goes beyond blood. Created by Havas India, the television commercial captures the ‘daughter’ as she runs last-minute errands, and returns to the orphanage where her foster family first discovered her as an infant.
