Ubisoft has rolled out The Ezio Collection via its Assassin’s Creed franchise, now available for the PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One.

Ubisoft has unveiled The Ezio Collection for Assassin’s Creed, with the M-rated (Mature) product currently available for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One. American and Canadian fans can also purchase The Essential Guide to dive deeper into the franchise.

Customised packages at participating United States retailers include a free movie ticket to catch Assassin’s Creed in theatres from 21 December 2016. Taking players to streets of Florence, Venice, Rome, and Constantinople, the new release brings to life the unique story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

The compilation features single-player campaigns and add-ons with enhanced graphics for Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. Also included are the short films—Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Assassin’s Creed Embers—which focus on the background of the one called Ezio.

Set during the Italian Renaissance, his journey begins when his family is struck with tragedy, propelling him into a lifelong quest to avenge his loved ones. Through the three-part saga, his evolution from a fiery young man full of vengeance to a mature, wise, and master assassin takes centre stage.

Developed by Virtuos in partnership with Ubisoft Montreal, the collection affords improved textures, lighting, and visual effects. Taking advantage of the current console generation, post-processes as god-rays, anti-aliasing, depth of field, and motion blur have been implemented for further immersion.

Launched in 2007, Assassin’s Creed games have sold more than 100 million units worldwide, and the franchise is now established as a best-selling series. The Ubisoft franchise has transcended video games to offer immersive experiences via comic books, mobile games, novels as well as movies.
