The Nike feature lets athletes cover more ground with an adaptive coaching engine that begins with a runner’s fitness level and goals.

Nike has launched an update to its Nike+ Run Club app, affording access to a new coaching feature and expert guidance from iconic athletes and coaches, alongside motivation and community. The service is designed to make running easier and a lot more fun for users.

The fresh feature enables athletes to cover more ground with an adaptive coaching engine, which begins with a runner’s fitness level and goals, and adapts to their performance and schedule. The app also offers content to help one enjoy training which is more efficient.

Meanwhile, access to the aforementioned expertise combined with run-tracking accuracy for both indoor and outdoor runs delivers the ultimate digital running experience for athletes. The Nike+ Run Club app is available today on iOS and android in the United States.

In addition to the above, its upgraded social tools use photo sharing, a huge selection of Nike stickers, hashtags, and the app’s feed to make it easier to celebrate and inspire friends as well as the global community. Ultimately, every run shared to the feed inspires others to run.

The global community spans over 250 countries, has logged over 500 million hours, and shared over 88 million runs. Elements learnt from said live sessions have been built into the app’s digital experience. The experience has been shaped to foster and reward participation.

“We’ve updated how we surround runners with everything they need to reach their potential—from coaching plans that adapt to meet specific needs to inspiration, motivation, and a community of millions to run with,” said Nikki Neuburger, VP, Global Running Brand at Nike.

Nike was a global winner at the 2015-2016 World Branding Awards as well as at the 2014-2015 installation under the Sports Retail category.
