Mountain Dew is widening its esports footprint via global powerhouse partnerships with Team Dignitas, Splyce, and Team SK Gaming.

Mountain Dew has welcomed on board three global powerhouses namely Team Dignitas, Splyce, and Team SK Gaming. The partnerships offer gamers exclusive content and access to some of the top esports celebrities worldwide via the brand’s Twitch channel.

Team Dignitas is run by the Philadelphia 76ers, while Splyce is headquartered in America and partners with Delaware North and the Boston Bruins. Based in Germany, Team SK Gaming is one of the largest around. The beverage giant picked them for their innovative style.

The brand created the Mountain Dew League in 2016, which was designed to help amateurs become pros. Meanwhile, in partnership with ESL, it provides amateur teams the opportunity to directly qualify for a place in the ESL Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Pro League.

“We are excited to expand our support of esports. Partnerships and authentic integrations which align with our core values and resonate with gamers will continue to inspire us as a business,” said Manos Spanos, Global Senior Marketing Director for Mountain Dew.
