Havas Group has acquired UK-based So What Global to boost its Havas Health & You footprint and the brand’s wellness offerings.

Havas Group is boosting its healthcare and wellness capabilities with the acquisition of So What Global, which joins the Havas Health & You business unit as Havas So. The brand’s two complementary agencies, So Healthy and So Active, add synergies of philosophy and service offerings to the group’s agency roster.

Offering science- and consumer-focused communication skill sets, the existing Health for Brands London firm will become part of Havas So, with the expanded group providing a complete range of services from PR to creative to digital.

With a focus on life communications—namely health, well-being, and lifestyle—So What Global currently works with numerous top pharma, consumer lifestyle, wellness companies, and global associations.

Along with its robust client roster, the agency will bring and further evolve its proprietary mapping and development framework, called RelationSHIFT, which helps define where clients are in terms of reputation and then creates a tailored pathway that moves them closer to the relationships that matter with key stakeholders.

Following the acquisition, co-founders and Managing Partners, Scott A. Clark and Oliver Parsons, will continue to lead the team of health, well-being, and lifestyle communications professionals. Both report to Donna Murphy, CEO of Havas Health & You, and will work closely with European leaders for day-to-day operations.

“Bringing SO What Global into Havas Health & You is a strategic move to expand our healthcare and wellness capabilities. Its entrepreneurial mindset will work to stimulate more business growth and drive,” said Yannick Bolloré (pictured), CEO of Havas Group.
