WPP AUNZ has joined two communications agencies to form Sudler Sydney, offering broader healthcare communications capabilities.
WPP AUNZ has merged communications agencies, greyhealth group and Sudler & Hennessey. Dubbed Sudler Sydney, the new entity blends two expert teams for broader healthcare communications capabilities. The unit is led by former Sudler & Hennessey Managing Director, Peter Bernard.
The merger affects the Australian arm of each agency, but not the global ghg or Sudler & Hennessey brands. Operating under WPP Health & Wellness AUNZ, its CEO, Gary Pattison, said the move offers a broader skill set across creative, strategy, digital, medical writing, and client service.
He also confirmed that there will now be two large WPP Health & Wellness agencies in Australia—Sudler Sydney and Ogilvy CommonHealth—reflecting the structure seen in many other WPP markets of a similar size. Sudler Sydney will operate from offices in Clarence Street, Sydney.
“We are constantly looking to optimise our portfolio of companies and offer clients the strongest possible solution. Merging these two healthcare specialists is a natural evolution, creating scale and more opportunities for our people and clients alike,” said Mike Connaghan, CEO at WPP AUNZ.
