Wella has named Christian Wood its celebrity stylist ambassador; his unique lens and elite clientele will help propel the brand forward.

Wella Professionals has named Christian Wood its latest celebrity stylist ambassador. His knack for innovation, unique lens, and elite clientele—which includes Sophie Turner, the brand’s global ambassador—will be leveraged to lead the marque towards new endeavours.

In addition to work featured in fashion magazine editorials worldwide, he has collaborated with some of the most celebrated photographers. Noted for his bold choices, his refined expertise has made him an in-demand talent in the fashion and entertainment industry.

Marking one of his first tie-ups with the hair care giant, Wood styled Turner for its year-long advertising campaigns. Beginning with the summer/fall push for the company’s EIMI portfolio, the partnership has added to his behind the scenes styling experience.

He continues to showcase his red-carpet ability with work on celebrities at key events such as the Met Gala, Golden Globes, and Oscars—including Turner’s (Sansa Stark) look for the highly anticipated Game of Thrones premiere, using Wella Professionals products.

As an initial undertaking, Wood will serve on the panel of judges at the North American TrendVision hair styling competition to be hosted by the brand in Los Angeles, California on 23 July. He will help determine who represents the region on the international stage.

“Stylists are truly the perfect partners. They go above and beyond to deliver the most personalised results and are the most knowledgeable on products and various needs. Our partnership with Christian proves that,” said Carole Protat, Creative Director NA at Coty.
