Inspired by its Pacific Northwest location, 415 guestrooms and nine suites were transformed as part of the grand W Seattle makeover.

W Hotels, a portfolio under Starwood Hotels & Resorts, has concluded the multi-million dollar renovation around its property in Seattle. Inspired by its Pacific Northwest location, all 415 guestrooms and nine suites have been transformed as part of the grand project.

The announcement marks the completion of the multi-phase refurbishment which includes the hotel’s signature Living Room—the brand’s take on the traditional hotel lobby—as well as Trace restaurant and the hospitality establishment’s bespoke meeting spaces.

Host Hotels & Resorts, the owner of W Seattle, partnered with design firm, Krause + Sawyer, along with the company’s in-house design team from to re-imagine the destination. Meanwhile, the location will also soon be home to the first W Sound Suite in North America.

The aforementioned offering entails a private music studio and writer’s room for professional recording artistes, studio musicians as well as hotel guests, allowing them to record in style while on the road. According to the marque, the getaway is an iconic part of the city’s social scene.

“The renovation of W Seattle is part of an overall W brand strategy to continue investing in our North American portfolio. Demand for the W brand in the US and abroad is as hot as ever,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader at W Hotels Worldwide.
