Junior Models Walked The Runway of Junior’s Fashion Week with Confidence

Junior’s Fashion Week recently delivered the Spring Summer 2017 Showcase to the City of Joy at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Kolkata. The event showcased reputed brands like U.S. Polo Assn, Biba Girls, Max Fashions and Manyavar. Airtel was the associating sponsor of the event.

U.S. Polo Assn. Spring Summer collection is Classic American Styling and features traditional, preppy, and updated looks.Their positioning, imagery and experience as a premium brand is reflected in the contemporary elegance, great tradition and a jovial attitude the collection offers at the right prices. The junior models brought the true essence of the brand alive on the runway.

A pool of one hundred and forty eight junior models of age group four to fifteen years, displayed their modelling aptitude on the runway of the most popular after kid’s fashion event of the country. The showcase wear was choreographed by the talented model and choreographer, Jessica Gomes Surana. “Fashion and education have always been my passion and there could have been no greater joy than combining both educating children on fashion and teaching them how to become little fashion icons. Junior’s Fashion Week is a great platform for kids to get a taste of the best of the fashion world available for kids,” she said.

Present on the occasion was the cast of the upcoming Bengali movie Posto, Arghya & Adeetri, who graced the collection of Max Fashions on the runway. The collection of the participating brands filled the runway with vibrancy and liveliness by their exclusive designs and creativity. “We are extremely excited to showcase our Biba Girls collection at the Junior’s Fashion Week. It’s always a pleasure to see the young girls in our garments and look forward to a great response from the show,” said Siddhartha Bindra, MD Biba Apparels.

A plethora of activities kept the event abuzz with excitement and rewards. Airtel hosted a set of activities and gave out prizes for the same. A creative wall by Airtel, dedicated to the attendees for freely expressing themselves was one of the highlight of the event.

Junior’s Fashion Week has opened doors to a lot of opportunities for the kids who aspire be a kid model. “We are glad to have an opportunity to serve in the city of joy. The overwhelming response from the parents and brands alike has given us a strong sense of responsibility to prove ourselves to be best edutainment platform for our junior models,” said Vin Sharma, Project Head of Junior’s Fashion Week.
