Extending its NBA footprint, Tissot has secured deals with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards, and signed on top rookie, Trae Young.
Tissot has inked partnerships with two NBA teams to tip off the 2018-2019 season. Having signed with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards, the brand will serve as official watch for both franchises. The deals add to its existing alliances with six other teams, while still official timekeeper of the association.
In addition, Tissot is teaming up with four-time all-star, Klay Thompson, and top rookie, Trae Young, and will retain its relationship with long-time brand ambassador, Tony Parker, who is a six-time all-star player. The athletic trio will feature in a global multimedia campaign and appear at key events all season-long.
Also, it remains the lead presenter of all NBA Buzzer Beaters; when a player sinks a winning basket with zero seconds left on the Tissot Shot Clock. Said layer is on top of its in-arena creative and digital support. Run on all NBA social channels, the programme spotlights the watchmaker’s accuracy in timekeeping.
“We welcome these teams and athletes into our sports family. Our partnership with the NBA has been very successful, helping increase our brand awareness amongst NBA fans in the United States. These new alliances will continue to raise our profile around the world,” said François Thiébaud, President of Tissot.
