The partnership between St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and Marchesa outlines Starwood’s commitment to signature wedding experiences for its global clientele

Starwood Hotels & Resorts luxury hospitality brand, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, has unveiled four new bridal gowns in partnership with design connoisseurs Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the co-founders of fashion house, Marchesa, to expand on its suite of signature wedding offerings.

The said Marchesa Bridal Capsule Collection, now available via a dedicated website, draws inspiration from four of St. Regis’ most iconic resort locations namely New York, Dubai, Punta Mita, and Mumbai. The customs and culture of each locale is captured in all of the four designs to ensure they deliver a unique sense of the place.

“St. Regis has always been a beloved destination for weddings around the world. We are thrilled to offer brides yet another way to make their day truly beyond expectation. Marchesa evokes the same spirit as St. Regis, combining classic elegance with a modern sensibility,” said Jim Petrus, Global Brand Leader of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.

The Mumbai piece features an intricate lace bodice featuring crystal and pearl embroidery with gold accents and traditional Indian beading. It uses a pleated tulle skirt overlay atop a Chantilly lace column skirt to embody contemporary lightness. Meanwhile, the New York ensemble is more architectural and celebrates the 50s. Boasting a cathedral train with three-dimensional thread work embroidery, it is accompanied by crystal and pearl beading over silk duchess satin.

The Dubai-inspired dress encapsulates the fashion-forward city with a slim silhouette and dramatic long sleeves. Its ornate rose-gold thread work and silk duchess satin fishtail skirt, while fully-beaded, is enhanced with clear crystals and pearls. Finally, the Punta Mita getup, complete with three-dimensional floral thread work embroidery and a flowing tulle, renders it ideal for a beach wedding.

The partnership developed organically after Marchesa showed its bridal collection at during the New York International Bride Week in October 2014. To add to the brand experience, clients who purchase from the collection will be invited to Marchesa’s atelier for a personal fitting with Chapman and Craig as well as gifted a stay at The St. Regis New York.
