Scheduled for official release in early 2017, the newly introduced kids’ programme is set to entail a 40-episode animated preschool series

Silvergate Media, the New York and London based international television production and licensing company focused on pre-school children’s entertainment, has kick-started production for a new animated preschool series titled Sunny Day. Currently in the making, its first season launches next year.

Scheduled for official release in early 2017, the newly introduced kids’ programme is set to entail a 40-episode animated preschool series, at 22 minutes each, while slated to launch across the Nickelodeon network. The show follows Sunny, the best hairstylist in her town and natural leader.

The main character depicts a personality who believes that every problem can be solved with determination and a little creativity. Meant to serve as an inspiring watch for young and vibrant minds, Sunny Day features themes designed to educate pre-schoolers on the importance of community involvement and self-confidence.

True to its essence, Silvergate Media is a creative hub set on driving big ideas and collaborations. Formed in 2011 following a buyout from Chorion by William Astor and Waheed Alli, the company has with two offices—one in the in the United States and the other in the United Kingdom.

The brand develops and produces content built to entertain and engage audiences across all ages through innovative storytelling, great products, and strong partnerships. Among its portfolio of projects in production are Peter Rabbit, and Octonauts, which are current in their second and fourth seasons respectively.
