PB UnionPay Lifestyle Debit Card Offers Greater Mobility in 160 Countries and Regions Through Quality and Secure Cross-Border Payment Services
UnionPay International reaffirms its presence in Malaysia by inking a first-of-its-kind partnership with Public Bank, the third largest bank in Malaysia. The PB UnionPay Lifestyle Debit Card, launched in December 2016, is targeted at customers and businessmen who are frequent travellers to Asia.
PB UnionPay Lifestyle Debit Card is issued upon opening of PB UnionPay Savings Account, giving Cardmembers a range of perks and benefits. A Cardmember can access the Priority Lane at Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Kuala Lumpur and Kuching, Malaysia to expedite the submission and processing of Visa application. Besides, up to 30% discount is offered to these Cardmembers in 50 selected business districts around the world. PB UnionPay Savings Account offers 0.5% p.a. flat interest rate and MYR10 monthly cash rebate for accounts with a minimum of MYR10,000 month-to-date average balance and no over-the-counter transaction for the month.
In conjunction with the launch, Public Bank is offering complimentary access to Plaza Premium Lounge Malaysia to partake a host of facilities that will make travelling more comfortable and satisfying.
Public Bank entered its 50th year of operations in 2016 with a total group asset of MYR363.76 billion at the end of 2015. With an extensive reach to its customers via a network of 259 well-distributed branches and over 2,000 self-service terminals in Malaysia, this partnership aims to provide Public Bank’s customers with greater mobility within the region and worldwide through the use of its quality and secure cross-border payment services.
