Porter Novelli picks partners from three different markets; Inge Boets (Brussels), Carrie Schum (DC), and Jimmy Szczepanek (Los Angeles).
Porter Novelli has named three new partners. The appointments recognise the trio’s commitment to attracting and developing the best talent, delivering results-oriented client programmes, and driving sustainable growth. With only 19 partners at the company, the candidates had to meet stringent criteria.
Evaluated for the position by the executive committee, the three selected include Inge Boets (pictured), Managing Director in Brussels; Carrie Schum, EVP, Strategic Planning, Analytics, and Research in Washington DC; as well as Jimmy Szczepanek, Executive Vice President in Los Angeles, California.
Boets has been with the group since 1998 and became Managing Director in Brussels in 2014. Having worked with many leading multinationals and trade industry associations, she brings two decades of corporate and marketing communications experience to her newly afforded role as partner.
Meanwhile, in the 18 years Schum has served with the agency, clients have benefited from her leadership, strategic insights as well as creativity. She sees her mission as helping brands tell their story comprehensively. She has had experience as an account lead on some of the firm’s largest clients.
Having served the US and Asian markets extensively, Szczepanek has 20 years of experience in public relations, including almost five at Porter Novelli Singapore where he was Managing Director. In the capacity, he led counsel and support for a range of consumer, corporate, and technology clients.
“Inge, Carrie, and Jimmy have contributed significantly to the agency with results-driven, award-winning work and steadfast commitment to excellent client service. I am pleased to recognise their contributions to the agency, our clients, and the industry,” said Brad MacAfee, CEO at Porter Novelli.
