PokerStars has inked a strategic deal with star runner, Usain Bolt, who will promote the brand via marketing campaigns and live appearances.
Amaya-run online poker platform, PokerStars, has forged an alliance with record-breaking sprinter, Usain Bolt, who will promote the game as ambassador. The eight-time Olympic gold medallist announced the tie-up via a social media exchange with Hollywood icon, Kevin Hart.
Earlier this year, the world-renowned comedian signed on with the label, and announced that he was going to “Make Poker Fun.” Meanwhile, Bolt will represent the brand across marketing campaigns and live appearances aimed at bringing new audiences to the betting table.
“Usain Bolt is a fierce competitor who pushes his game to the limits and one of the most-liked athletes in the world. His strong global following and winning personality will help us introduce poker in a fun, social, and fast way,” said Eric Hollreiser, VP of Corporate Communications at PokerStars.
