Pet Healthcare Company set to Launch Indiegogo Campaign, Take Pre-orders for Petrics Smart Pet Bed
Petrics, creators of the smart pet bed and pet health ecosystem, will launch its Indiegogo campaign on 30 November, 2017, enabling consumers to pre-order its smart pet bed, created to help pets live longer. The brand’s smart pet bed and companion collar activity tracker extend the lives of pets by tracking weight, rest periods and activity levels. The smart pet bed also offers thermostatic climate control to keep pets in optimal comfort and safety within varying climates and seasons. The brand’s pet health ecosystem can be controlled with the Petrics mobile app and works with existing smart home technology.
Petrics will be officially unveiled at the 2018 Consumer Electronics show at booth 43774 and has already been selected as a CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honouree in both the Smart Home and Tech for a Better World product categories. Products entered in the CES Innovation Awards are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to honour outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products across 28 product categories. Products chosen as CES Innovation Honourees reflect innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting-edge tech products and services coming to market.
“Our number one goal is to help pets live longer. Our system helps pet parents care for their furry best friends by creating a connected ecosystem that tracks, analyses and recommends optimal health solutions unique to each pet and ultimately, helps save lives through early detection and intervention,” said Ed Hall, CEO, Petrics.
The brand’s smart pet bed tracks pet’s weight, rest and activity and offers climate control, all of which help pet owners ensure that their furry friends are achieving the optimal weight ranges and temperature for breed, age and other import characteristics. The smart pet bed also connects to the brand’s wearable activity tracker, which tracks pets’ caloric burn rate, rest levels, and other health metrics. The Petrics mobile app communicates with the entire pet health ecosystem, allowing pet parents to monitor and track pets’ health and nutrition data, get food and diet recommendations and share findings with other family members, pet sitters, and veterinarians. This critical, real-time feedback helps pet parents catch health issues before they become more serious and costly.
