Pepsi has added a festive layer to its PepsiMoji push in the United States with the release of holiday-themed emojis and gift inspirations.
Pepsi is expanding its #SayItWithPepsi footprint in the United States with the entry of holiday-inspired emojis to spread festive cheer. Free to download via Google Play and the Apple App Store, the collection will appear across select bottled products between now and the end of the year.
The brand has also introduced an online hub that allows the purchase of special-edition merchandise. Available through 26 December, the pop-up shop offers gift choices and party décor. Other key selections include sweatshirts, beanies, stockings, mugs, phone cases greeting cards, and more.
Meanwhile, the exercise has revived the classic ‘White Elephant’ with a festive spin. Running for free on a designated Facebook channel from 1-20 December, the game affords contestants an opportunity to win quirky prizes such as an ugly holiday sweater or peppermint-themed snow tube.
Upon communicating with a Messaging Bot, players are eligible to win prizes exchangeable with friends through Messenger. Users will receive a unique code to be entered into Pepsi Pass to unlock a prize which can be redeemed until 5 January 2017. The rewards programme is downloadable.

With hundreds of proprietary characters created, the brand’s followers can pick from a variety of themes which span food, sports, travel, and music, among others, to spark conversations and shareable moments.
