For the launch of its InkJoy Gel Pens line, Paper Mate has partnered with Island Records singer-songwriter and international sensation, Shawn Mendes. As ambassador, he will serve as the face of the brand’s Spread Joy, Not Smears campaign—which ties in with his upcoming summer World Tour.
Between now and December, fans will have the opportunity to join the multi-Platinum artiste in celebrating the 14 vibrant colours featuring vivid gel ink from the aforementioned collection. According to the stationery giant, the product’s strength lies in its ability to dry three times faster.
The push continues the #NotesFromShawn movement with DoSomething, which started in 2014 to help promote positivity by encouraging supporters to share notes with others to brighten their day, boost self-esteem, and reinforce the power of the written word.
Currently in its third annual installation, the effort starts with the first stop of Mendes’ tour happening on 15 July. As part of the movement, consumers are now able share their heartfelt messages and related photos on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #SpreadJoy.
