Alongside its local market strengths, all TBWA\WorldHealth offices under Omnicom Health will be linked by TBWA’s culture of innovation
Omnicom Health Group has combined two of its agency icons—LLNS and Corbett—under TBWA\WorldHealth. The move expands the network’s scale and scope, deepening its commitment to ‘disrupt’ healthcare using the brand’s proprietary creative engine, Disruption.
Headquartered in New York with offices worldwide, the said outfits will become TBWA\WorldHealth. Sharon Callahan has been named CEO. Former Corbett President, Robin Shapiro will serve as Group President, North America. Additional management will be drawn from Corbett, LLNS, and TBWA\WorldHealth.
In addition to her CEO role, Callahan (pictured) will also continue to serve as Chief Client Officer of the Omnicom Health Group. With 30 years of healthcare experience, she served as CEO of LLNS and President of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association in 1997 and 2005.
She currently sits on the boards of the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame, the Arthritis Foundation, Women Against Alzheimer’s, and is the Executive Committee Chair of the Coalition for Healthcare Communications. Meanwhile, the new entity offers clients significantly greater scale and resources.
The firm will strengthen its New York presence while adding full-service offices in Chicago, San Francisco, and Irvine, California to complement existing offices in London, Paris, Hamburg, Istanbul, and Mexico City. Alongside its local market strengths, TBWA\WorldHealth offices will be linked by TBWA’s culture of innovation.
“What’s exciting is that interest in health and wellness is creating opportunities for communications in adjacent categories like food, beauty, technology, and retail. The latest formation creates new possibilities for us to serve more clients at the convergence of healthcare,” said John Wren, President and CEO of Omnicom Group.
