The Ogilvy Washington veteran brings to the table extensive corporate reputation, B2B, technology, and crisis management experience.

 Ogilvy Washington has elevated Nick Ludlum (pictured) to role of Executive Vice President and Group Director, Corporate and Public Affairs. The 10-year agency veteran brings to his new commission extensive public affairs, corporate reputation, B2B, technology, crisis, and issues management experience.

He leads the agency’s North American crisis offering as well as its trade association offering, Association Works, and is also a founding member of Ogilvy PR’s planning group, Insight & Strategy. His expertise includes protecting the reputation and advancing the interests of clients.

The businesses he leads spans a wide spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, chemicals, food and nutrition, health care, technology as well as for sovereign nations. Accounts services have included Boehringer Ingelheim, DuPont, Ventura Foods, LexisNexis, and Luxottica, among others.

His work with the government of Mexico included counselling the Office of the President, the Security Cabinet, the Tourism Ministry, and diplomatic missions throughout the world on crises stemming from the ongoing drug war to medical tourism, food recalls, and breakdowns in diplomatic relations.

The newly promoted EVP has worked on range of issues. They are such as GMOs, palm oil, health care delivery, management of health care provider networks, natural disasters, data breaches, credit card fraud, human rights abuses, and international organised crime.

Prior to joining Ogilvy, Ludlum spent eight years working for Fusion Public Relations, where he opened and supervised the company’s Washington D.C. office. In said capacity, he was responsible for client satisfaction, financial management, human resources, and business development.
