Ogilvy PR has appointed business development expert, Dan Goodman, to Senior Vice President of Business Development for North America

Ogilvy PR has named Dan Goodman its Senior Vice President of Business Development for North America. Based in New York, he will be in charge of identifying and driving new business growth for the agency in said market, and will with the network’s eight offices across the region.

He joins the firm from Newsweek, where he had been tasked with establishing business opportunities to increase the company’s visibility. In his newly afforded role at Ogilvy PR, he reports to the Global Chief Business Development Officer, Suresh Raj (pictured), who is also based in New York.

Prior to his Newsweek tenure, Goodman served with Y&R, a full service advertising agency which is part of the WPP family. While in said capacity, he spearheaded global operations, developed new business initiatives, and identified revenue opportunities for the brand and its clients.

“Dan’s background in advertising is an incredible asset to engage with decision makers that include chief marketing officers, in addition to PR professionals—an enormous asset that will help us crystallise, integrate, and deliver more relevant solutions on regional and national briefs,” said Raj.
