Joining Leo Burnett Chicago from We Are Unlimited, Chris Bergen will direct the cross-functional team tasked with driving the Kellogg remit.

Leo Burnett has named Chris Bergen (pictured) as Executive Vice President, Business Director for its Chicago office. He enters the firm from We Are Unlimited, where he oversaw business leadership, product launches, and communications for McDonald’s. He reports to Denny Grant, Head of Business Leadership at Leo Burnett Chicago.

Bergen will work closely with Jordan Doucette, who was hired earlier in the year as EVP, Executive Creative Director to head The Kellogg Company remit. His other immediate associates are Joe Gray, EVP, Strategy Director and Alycia Mason, who currently helms the Kellogg’s One account for Publicis Groupe.

Throughout his close to 20-year career, he has supported businesses across a myriad of categories as well as global markets. His vast experience covers CPG, retail, automotive, consumer electronics, tourism, and commodities. At Leo Burnett, he will instruct the cross-functional team driving success for Kellogg’s brands.

“Chris brings a strong pedigree in next-generation, integrated product, and is a great addition to Leo Burnett. He will help us continue to evolve our team, which is part of the Publicis Power of One model. He has a proven track record in identifying creative solutions that drive business results for clients,” said Grant.

Kellogg’s is global winner of the 2018-2019 World Branding Awards in the Cereals category. McDonald’s is a five-time global winner of the World Branding Awards, having claimed the winning spot across multiple categories between 2014 and 2018.
