Ketchum has named Gabriel Araujo (pictured), current EVP and CD of Little George, the firm’s creative shop in Brazil, to the expanded role of Executive Creative Director, International. He will join both client and new business teams to head ideation, branded content, advertising, and product innovation.

He will report to Partner and Chief Strategy & Creativity Officer, Karen Strauss. Most recently, Little George earned a 2017 Cannes Health Lion and PR Lion award for Amazon Warriors Safe Children, a campaign for Ananse which helped address malaria and yellow fever in said region.

“Gabriel has been a true leader within our creative community, serving as an incredible sounding board focused on making ideas stronger. I am excited he will now share his spirit of collaboration, global perspective, and integrated marketing lens with more Ketchum clients,” said Strauss.

Araujo retains his current duties at Little George, a team made up of planners, copywriters, art directors, and PR creatives specialised in advertising, digital, social media, and PR solutions. In said capacity, he will continue to report to Valeria Perito, Partner and CEO at Ketchum Brazil.

With his wider global focus, the newly promoted ECD will work alongside the group’s senior strategy and creative leaders as well as support worldwide teams seeking inspiration.
